CAMPING SITES WITH WATER AND ELECTRIC HOOKUPS

Keen Lake offers 300 varied sites scattered on 90 acres in a cluster principal to preserve the natural beauty of the land.  Of these, over 60 are water and electric sites.  These sites are best suited to pop-ups (without bathrooms), tents and vans.  Most water and electric sites are also equipped with cable television hook-up. We do not supply cable wire.

Water and electric sites are available in open and sunny areas, in shaded areas, in wooded areas and on the lakefront.  Some sites are closer to bathhouses than others.  Other sites are close to playgounds.  Please make your preferences known to our reservation assistants and please make us aware of tip outs and where they are located on your unit.

Each site is equipped with a picnic table and a fire ring.

While camping at Keen Lake you can visit a variety of area attractions such as the Anthracite Coal Mine Tour or Historic Steamtown National Park or you can enjoy the many activities available on the grounds for your family.

For your convenience, we have firewood, ice, nightcrawlers, groceries, snacks, and recreational vehicle accessories for sale right here on the grounds.

Pa. law requires Coast Guard approved life vests for everyone in your boat. Boats with electric motors must be licensed.
       
Additional Persons on Site
There is no charge for children younger than 4 years old

Please inform your guests prior to their arrival that " Guest Fees " are required to enter the grounds. Car Passes will be issued to them upon registering at the main office.

No guest check-ins after 10 p.m.

We reserve the right to limit guests.

Boat Rental Rates and Regulations

Daily Rentals are not available on holidays.
Limited Daily Rentals on weekends—first come, first served.

Rentals are subject to 6% PA state sales tax
All of our rowboats have a current license registration for people who bring their own electric motors.
We provide Coast Guard approved life vests for each person in the boat.
Pennsylvania Law requires that vests be worn by all children ages 12 and under.
We are not able to provide vests for private boats.
We require a $20 deposit or driver’s license as security on the vests we provide.
Monies/license refunded upon return of vests.
       

Over 80 Water-Electric-Sewer Sites are provided for your camping pleasure.
